  • Can you work with clients outside of Ohio?
    Yes! While we are located in Ohio, we work with clients in any state.
  • What does your process look like for tax preparation?
    (1) Upload a prior year tax return to ensure we're a fit. Upon approval, you will proceed to sign our engagement letter and submit a $100 non-refundable deposit, which will be applied towards your final preparation fee. (2) In January our Tax Questionnaire will be released, providing you with a convenient platform to submit all your tax information and support. (3) Once all support has been received, we will complete and review your tax return within 3 weeks of the final document received. (4) Upon completion, you will have a chance to review and approve your return before we e-file. The remaining invoice is due at this time.
  • What types of clients do you serve?
    We deliberately serve a niche clientele so we can keep our processes streamlined and cost-efficient, without compromising service. We DO work with clients who have: W2 Employment Income, Investment Income (1099s), Itemized Deductions, Social Security Income, Tuition or Student Loans, Alimony Paid / Received, and Stock Options. ​ We DO NOT work with clients who have: Contracting Income, Rental Properties, Schedule C Income, Cryptocurrency Income, Schedule K1s, or International Income.
  • Is my information with you secure?
    The security of your sensitive information is our utmost priority. We go to great lengths to ensure the protection and confidentiality of your data. With our unwavering commitment to information security, we employ robust and secure systems that adhere to industry best practices, giving you peace of mind throughout your tax journey.
  • Do you accept paper documents?
    No. To optimize efficiency and promote environmental responsibility, we have transitioned to a paperless system. Our client portal contains a document scanning feature to turn your paper documents into PDF. Go green with us!
  • My current situation prevents me from using Vivify. Do you have recommendations for another tax preparer?
    Rest assured, we've got your back! If you need a trusted CPA, we have a network of qualified professionals ready to assist you. Simply reach out to us at hello@usevivify.com and share your requirements. We're here to help you every step of the way.
  • Can I extend my tax return past April 15th?
    While it's not our standard practice to extend tax returns, we recognize that life can bring unexpected circumstances. If you require a personalized approach or have specific needs, please don't hesitate to inform us. To ensure a smooth process, it's important that we have prior discussion and approval of any extenuating circumstances. If all the required documentation is not provided by March 22nd, a surcharge of $100 will be automatically applied.
